Principality of Palend - micronation located in Central Europe. It borders on all sides with the Republic of Poland.
History
Bigburg (predecessor of the Principality of Palend) was founded by Prince Tymoteusz I in the first half of the twenty-first century. At that time, the country had a president who was the current Prince. Later, Bigburg turned into the Principality of Paledzie (Księstwo Palędzkie), which later changed its name to the Principality of Palend (Księstwo Palendyjskie).
August 30, 2023 Prince Tymoteusz I signed the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the Principality of Palend. Currently, the state is in the process of building a legal system.
Geography
The Principality of Palend is located in Central Europe, in the Greater Poland Lake District. It is a lowland country.
The area of the country is 0.001 km2 (0.39 sq mi)
Climate
The principality lies in the temperate climate zone. It is a transitional area from a maritime climate to a continental climate. The average annual rainfall is 507 mm. The greatest amount of rain falls here in the summer months (July about 76 mm, June and August about 60 mm).[1]
In January and February, the sum of precipitation reaches 22-29 mm, and in February 22 mm. The snow cover in the Principality lies for about 50 days a year.[1]
The average annual temperature here is 8.5°C. The hottest month is July (18.2°C). The average temperature in June is 16.4°C, and in August 17.8°C.[1]

Politics
The political system of the Principality is an absolute monarchy, so the hereditary Prince who is the head of state exercises full executive, legislative and judicial powers. The Prince also directly controls the principality's foreign policy. The principality is a unitary state. The legal system is based on acts passed by the Prince.

Services are the basis of the Principality's economy. At present, nothing is produced in the country.

Art and music
Artists creating works of contemporary art work in the Principality. There are also interesting collections of Polish art in the Principality.
Many of the inhabitants of the Principality can play some instrument. Instrumental and choral music is especially developed.
Cuisine
The Pricipality's cuisine is based mainly on Polish and Italian cuisine. Dishes such as pizza, pork chops, pancakes, sweet omelettes, dumplings, pasta and soups are popular. Popular drinks include tea, coffee and fruit juices. Alcohol is also drunk, mainly beer.
